Governor set to disclose a new budget Wednesday. Session resumes Monday.
Gov. Gary Locke said he intends to propose a new revised supplemental budget request Wednesday. It is designed to get legislative negotiations off dead center for a second special session to resolve the budget that tentatively is set for Monday, April 24.
Higher Education issues still do not appear to be at the center of House-Senate disputes over the budget.
Our indications are that the governor`s budget proposal for WSU will resemble proposals that have come out of both the House and the Senate.
