A comprehensive report of the 1998 legislative session for faculty,
staff, and students. The legislative session will probably be
remembered by WSU because of the important reforms that were
attempted in delivering higher education to Spokane. Gov. Gary
Locke will determine the ultimate outcome, perhaps later this
week. WSU is urging the governor to sign that bill into law
and pave the way for more higher education programs to be offered
to Spokane residents.
